Hey there! It's a new post. I wrote The First Day like it was the first day because I wanted it to be
realistic. It really happened on 6/21/23 (June 21st 2023). The chicks are actually 2 weeks old.
Such simplicity before the escape. Yes, I said escape. The budgies are telling me that's my cue to tell
the story. More on them later. This story is about Ginger. Ginger is a reddish chick, but difficult to tell
from her friend Honey (see The First Day for more info) So Ginger jumped onto the chick warmer,
flapped onto the side of the bin, and toppled onto the table underneath their bin. Now we have a drying
rack on the bin, and there's not been an escape since.
You look far too innocent, Ginger. You know you're not.
Hopefully we won't have any more escapes, but you never know, it might happen again.
Anyhow, the girls have gotten bigger and stronger, and they're getting more difficult to hold, so
I just put them on my wrist now, as shown by the picture above. I have some pictures of the
rest below.
Say hello, Honey!
Coral, smile!
Please try not to move to much, Black Pearl, just this once.
3. 2. 1. BLASTOFF!
That's all for now. Blogging again soon!
